A Texas juvenile jail counselor got intimate with an inmate and had dirty dates with the teen boy, police said.
Selena Marie Baxter, 29, had a months-long sexual relationship with a 16-year-old boy she was supposed to help, Texas Rangers said.
She met the teen almost half her age when he was an inmate at Lake Granbury Youth Services, a juvenile jail near Fort Worth in Oct. 2014, Valley Central reported.
Baxter was a licensed professional counselor intern employed by the Texas Department of State Health Services at the time.
After the boy was released in June 2015, his mother found naked photos of the counselor and dirty texts from the counselor, according to a police report.
“Baby I have never felt this much for anyone as I feel for you, I am so in love with you,” the lustful alleged sex fiend wrote in a message.
The boy’s mom called police and later contacted the Texas Rangers.
During the six-month investigation, police learned that she took the boy to a “Life In Color” concert at the Rio Grande Valley and stayed at a Holiday Inn Express.
That’s where they had “sexual activity, but didn’t have sexual intercourse,” the teen told police.
She was arrested on Dec. 22 and charged with violating the civil rights of a person in custody, and indecency with a child by sexual contact, according to jail records.
