CHICAGO — A man was shot while in his car on the Dan Ryan Expressway.
The shooting happened just after midnight Thursday on the southbound Dan Ryan near 75th Street.
State police said the man was the only person in the car when someone took aim from another vehicle traveling outbound.
He's being treated for a graze would to the shoulder at Roseland Hospital and is expected to recover.
Chicago police took the victim's car off the highway.
The outbound Dan Ryan was briefly closed between 75th and 79th Streets while police searched for shell casings. It has since been reopened.
There is no description available of the offender's car or how many people were in it.
No one is in custody.
