Abdi "Skid Marks" Olani beat the traffic ticket via death
St. Paul MN - A 30-year-old St. Paul man was found dead Sunday after he apparently jumped a guardrail and fell 40 feet while running from a crash in St. Paul, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
St. Paul police found the man about 11 a.m. Sunday on the University of Minnesota transit road under Minnesota 280. The crash had occurred more than eight hours earlier and a quarter-mile away, seriously injuring another driver, the State Patrol said.
The man killed was Abdi Olani, who was completing his electrical engineering degree at the University of Minnesota, said Oda Abdissa, a friend of his for years. He said people in his community are shocked by what happened.
