CHICAGO POLICE: Woman found dead at the Wyndham Grand, 71 E. Wacker Drive

Mixing Cocaine, Cognac and Weed is not a good way to bring in the new year!

Police are investigating after a 55-year-old woman was found dead in a hotel room in the Loop on Friday morning.

The woman, whose name was not immediately released, was pronounced dead at 7:36 a.m. in a room on the 18th floor of the Wyndham Grand, 71 E. Wacker Drive, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Officer Nicole Trainor, a spokeswoman for the Chicago police, said the woman did not show any signs of trauma.

An autopsy is scheduled for Saturday. A spokesperson for the hotel said they had no comment.
